Being one of South Australia's largest pest control companies, Murray Pest Control has a strong brand recognition amongst SA's consumers. The mandate given to us was to improve the usability of their website, increase enquiry rates, make the website faster and look better, and most importantly, preserve their SEO rankings on Google since they were ranked #1 for pest control based search terms.
In order to understand how users used the website, we used heatmaps to redesign their website. What struck us was that over 55% of users were using the scroll to identify their pest.
As a result, we redesigned the "Identify your pest" with a clear call to action as per the image on the right.
We accomplished everything that was required on our end to complete and the results speak for themselves.
Pacific Marine is South Australia's largest marine and boating center selling everything from new and used boats along with equipment. Their old website was built over 15 years ago and this meant that their website was not mobile friendly. The content was all over the place.
Since it was an established website, the challenge was to preserve their content, their Google rankings along with coming up with a design that was easy for users to navigate. Pacific Marine also required us to create a custom WordPress plugin for the new site so that their staff can easily manage their inventory.
The website is full of photos so speed, reliability and performance was key. They are currently using our WordPress Hosting solution.
We worked closely with both the Director of Workpass and their UI/UX graphic designer. The designer's requirement to us was to build the website pixel-to-pixel as designed in the Photoshop file and illustrate this in code as a website.
When you look at the website, each element was custom made and meeting the designer's requirements was challenging but was achievable. The designer was impressed that we were able to deliver the website according to his design files.
Another requirement was global usability. Since this startup has a global presence, we were required to host their website with the requirement that it loaded fast across different countries that they target. We used a serverless WordPress hosting solution on Amazon AWS' platform with a content delivery network (CDN) to achieve this.
Sydney based company, Rentafill required a redesign of their existing website. They wanted a modern, clean and easy to use content management system to manage their equipment. We had built their website in WordPress and they manage their equipment via WooCommerce. We then built custom features that allowed them to enter machine specifications and etc.
They also required HTTPS and SSL certificate for their website given the recent Google Chrome changes. With the new website, we had delivered a design and system within the expectation of the owner.
Staintec is an established company based in Brisbane that fitout the hottest clubs and restaurants. They required a simple website to showcase their previous work along with having an online presence (they didn't have a website even though they were trading for over 20 years). They wanted to use the website for the purposes of opening the website whilst being in a meeting and using the gallery to showcase their work.
Since the website is heavy in images, they used our hosting services which delivers fast and reliable speed and performance.
